PLEASE DONATE TO OUR VETERANS

MONEY

With a mission to provide a post service life of excellence, Outstanding Veterans, Inc. could use your cash donations.  Every little bit helps to cover our operational expenses.  As the old saying goes, "nothing is for free."  Even donated houses cost thousands of dollars to transfer the property.  Then we have the entire cost of renovating the property.  Although we seek to obtain as many materials as possible through donations, there is always a shortfall of supplies.  We provide a tax-deductible receipt for all money donated to our veterans.

BUILDING SUPPLIES 

With a mission to house veterans, we will be renovating distressed properties.  Any and all extra building supplies are greatly appreciated.  A receipt for TAX DEDUCTION will be provided for the value of the materials donated.  These donations will help greatly with our mission. 

TIME

There are certain tasks and skills that we just are not able to cover with our Outstanding team.  Whatever time you have to help achieve our mission, helps our veterans and Baltimore City.

DISTRESSED PROPERTY 

With a mission to house veterans, we are always looking for properties.  If you are looking for a TAX DEDUCTION and have a property that you aren't sure what to do with it, please consider donating to Outstanding Veterans, Inc.  We will obtain the appraisal, coordinate all the documentation, and pay all costs for the transfer of the property.  We will obtain an appraisal and provide you with a receipt for your tax .

UNDERWATER PROPERTIES 

If you have a property that has more taxes, water bills and City citations, than the value of the property, PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING it to Outstanding Veterans, Inc. Your donation will help provide veterans with jobs and housing and may be integral in our effort to revitalize Baltimore City.  We work directly with the City through a lien release program to minimize or reduce the taxes, water and citations so we may make the property viable for renovation.  The lien release program expressly prevents you from receiving any compensation for the property.  Also, you MAY NOT CLAIM A TAX DEDUCTION under this program but you MAY TRANSFER THE LIABILITY of the property and get it out of your name and off your books.  It is as simple as signing the City’s Seller Certification form, a contract, and a deed.  We will coordinate all paperwork and pay all costs associated with the transfer of the property.
